Christian Hirling

Christian Hirling is an Anaesthetist who works at East Bay Specialist Centre as needed for General Anaesthetic surgery.  He has an interest in day stay surgery, acute pain management, and peripheral nerve blocks.

Background  - Christian graduated from Homburg Medical School, Germany before moving to the UK where he trained in intensive care and cardiology at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. 

Christian then moved back to Germany where he obtained Fellowship in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care with a special interest in emergency medicine.  He is a member of the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists (NZSA).
