Mr Paul Fagan

Eastbay Specialist Centre would like to introduce and welcome Dr Paul Fagan to our rooms. Paul is an accomplished New Zealand trained General and Colorectal Surgeon.

He has over 15 years of experience in the New Zealand public health system and is currently also appointed as a General Surgeon and Endoscopist for Te Whatu Ora, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.​

Paul's areas of expertise include:

• Colonoscopy / Polypectomy

• Gastroscopy

• Hernia surgery

• Colorectal surgery

• Coloproctology

• Gallbladder surgery

• Skin surgery

Paul's expertise extends to day surgery, where his minimally invasive training and pain management techniques often allow patients to return to the comfort of their own homes on the same day for certain procedures. This patient-centred approach ensures convenience and optimal recovery.

• BHB - Bachelor of Human Biology (University of Auckland)

• MBChB - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (University of Auckland)

• ChM - Master of Surgery in General Surgery with Distinction (University of Edinburgh)

• FRACS (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons)
